inHere is my latest and greatest card using the Emma’s Shoppe kit:
I, of course, used the zig zag background stamp and then layered my die cuts of tulips over the top, using my paper from the kit and distressing the edges with the cat eye chalk inks from colorbox. I also punched an oval shape and stamped the greeting and nestled it in more of Emma’s paper that I dry embossed and cut out and chalked. I used an adhesive lace ribbon that I also chalked to add a little extra something!Â
The overall effect made me smile 🙂

This recipe was given to me from my friend Shannan and is easy and delicious!
Pink Lemondade Slush
1~ 12 oz can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
1 1/4 c. water
1 10 oz pkg frozen raspberries
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 c. iceÂ
Blend in a blender until slushy–place in freezer for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Scoop a generous amount into each glass and pour lemon-lime soda over. Slush around with a fork and serve. May add vodka or raspberry liqueur if desired.
Very fizzy and refreshing!
Have a good one~

inI made two more cards using my kit and here they are:
I punched the flowers using the center of the paper in the background of the cards and embellished the flowers with pearls and Sakura white souffle pens, which adds a dimensional accent…like wet embossing with a pen! I punched leaves using my circle punch–you punch a circle and then take that piece and put it back in the punch and align it using your finger to the desired size of the leaf and punch again. I accented the leaves with the souffle pen also. Distressed the edges of all the images using my brown cat eye chalk ink.  Finished the look with tattered ric rac on one card and an embellishment from the kit on the other–stamped greeting on each: joy and always. Almost forgot–I also did a scalloped border punch along the bottom of the card. (I used a few punches 🙂 )
Wishing you joy…always!

Well–didn’t I tell you to be on the look out for zig zags? I wasn’t lying!!!
This card was so fun to make–I used my new zig zag background (makes me want to dance–and that is not a pretty sight ;))Â and heat embossed it in a great green color–then I used my water color crayons and colored my favorite color in two shades using an aqua painter. Then I used the carriage embellishment from Emma’s Shoppe and added some brads to the wheels. I finished the look with a baby stamp framed in some hardware and attached with more brads and layered on aqua card stock and ribbon.
Sweet~

inHere it is! My latest scrapbook page using the Emma’s Shoppe kit. I used several embellishments and papers from the kit including a paper that looked like book spines and collaged them all on my page. My favorite embellishment is the girl on the swing…
These are pictures of my sisters and Mom all decked out in our hats for Mother’s Day.
We had a nice swing in one of the big trees in our front yard. We had fun doing underdogs and seeing how high we could go! I can’t swing anymore–it makes me too dizzy–I’ve heard that happens as we get older? We made a lot of good memories growing up on the farm–and learned a good work ethic–thanks to our parents!!
Enjoy~

inAlright–so–we had to have a fun party to celebrate right? (Or maybe just an excuse to get in some crafting with friends) We made some Valentine banners and had a candy extravaganza!
We also had a candy heart tasting~~which was very informative 😉 Brach’s original candy hearts won the contest–they were a little soft and the flavor was perfection!!
It was a fun evening and the girls~young women~ went home with a new decoration for their room or home.
Spread the Love~

inHere is the latest card created using my Emma’s Shoppe kit. I used my favorite paper and matted it on a dark brown cardstock and layered it on a pale pink cardstock card base that I stamped with a new background stamp that I am in LOVE with!!!! (be on the look-out for zig zags in future posts!!!) I embellished with a butterfly die, banner die, stickles, ribbon and some pearls for accent.
Enjoy~
